Arjan is a 5 years old full of energy adorable little man.

He was born in the Natural Birthing Clinic in the birthing pool in August 2014 weighing 3.66kg.

I was in so much pain during the labour that I thought I was done with it forever!

Little did I know I was going to have one more child after Arjan.

Arjan was breastfed but things were a little rocky at the start as he was tongue-tied which made the whole experience very painful for me. He was taken to the hospital on day 5 for a little surgery and after that, we had no issues with feeding.

Arjan was growing up quickly and began walking at 11 months old.

He was quickly picking up words and made full sentences by the age of 2.

Being the youngest at the time he was spoiled with the attention and he was just too cute to tell off so he got away with a lot of things.

When he was 2 years old his little brother was born and we were unsure how is he going to react as we did not have any friends having babies around.

He came to visit me and Jay in the hospital after the labour and he’s reaction has melted my heart. He looked at Jay and kissed him on a forehead and we have seen the immediate bond being born.

He took on the role of a big brother very well and is always looking after Jay and teaching him a lot as they are growing up together.

Arjan is a very affectionate and caring little boy with a big kind heart that wins many people over despite his cheeky and inquisitive nature.

Arjan was never a very good sleeper and until now he sneaks into our bed at night for a cuddle as he seems to still need this affection. I know one day he will grow out of it and I will miss him coming over for a cuddle.

He is currently in year 1 moving onto year 2 in September and academically despite doing well, in general, he is much stronger at maths than other subjects.
