I have recently created my own 3x Canvas Wall art on a budget and it only cost me under £10.00
If you are looking for such inspiration I hope this will come handy.
Here is the video where you can see how I have done it:
The video on my YouTube Channel:
The backstory:
I am still decorating my new house despite we’ve been living in it for nearly a year already (spoiler alert!- New video with my whole house tour coming up soon!), and I wanted some art on my main bedroom wall.
Being frugal I decided to create my own canvases. I always liked the idea of 3 similar abstract wall art that is hanged above the bed and I wanted to recreate such art myself. I did watch a few videos and got inspired and combined the ideas into what came out to be quite impressive art.
I have bought 5 products from Poundland :
2x acrylic paint (white and red)
2 x glitter 50 g(silver and pink)
1x PVC glue 500ml bottle
And one 3 pack of a canvas 10×12 – £3.00 from The Works shop.
I also used some leftover pains my daughter had used before but you can easily do it with just Poundland paint.
I also used a hairdryer and double-sided tape to stick them onto my wall.

If you just wanted to have a look at a ready-made canvas that you could purchase online these are the one’s I really like:
But as you can see the price tag is not for everyone’s pocket. Especially if you are frugal or saving up.
Or I really like this one:
This one here is in a more affordable price tag, however, it does come unframed so if you have a frame (x3) at home you can spare yourself a hassle of creating one yourself and go for an online one:
Make it your own
I really encourage you to make it yourself. I had so much fun with it, my son loved watching me doing it and also it is such a bargain.
If you don’t feel like going to the shops, here are the items you will need. Order it online, get it delivered and you’re ready to create:
Canvas- depending on the size you need, you can either get a smaller triple pack or a larger single one. I would recommend small ones if you are just starting out:
Paint
The sky is the limit when it comes to the types and colours you can choose from. You can just do basic ones and mix them up too. Always remember you will need a base colour – white or black depending on the theme.
Also, you can go for metallics which are perfect if you want to go for a pouring technique:
If you want to add some sparkle which I highly recommend, go for a glitter
Or you can go for a chunky glitter which gives super sparkly effect:
You will also need a PVA glue which is best to mix with paint so that the glitter will stick to it.
Don’t forget the gloves, it will get messy!

I hope you guys liked it and I really encourage you to try it yourself it is so much fun too.
